The city centre and towns across Dublin were turned into a sea of green today as thousands gathered watch St. Patrick's Day parades 17/03/2025 0 comment. 2. The parade, scheduled for March 17 at 11am, promises to be a spectacular celebration of Irish culture and community spirit. The St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Dun Laoghaire is an inclusive community event and therefore no political statements/campaigning and/or slogans should be made by participant groups. Every participant group should provide music whether live or via speakers to compliment their group. No items to be thrown into the crowds at any time. The route for the St Patrick's Day parade in 2025 has been revealed. This weekend, Ireland's largest celebration is set to turn the city green, with the main event falling on a Bank Holiday Monday. Dun Laoghaire-Dingle Offshore Race. The biennial Dun Laoghaire to Dingle race is a 320-miles race down the East coast of Ireland, across the south coast and into Dingle harbour in County Kerry.
